Fishing w/ Dad 10.4.09
•October 6, 2009 • Leave a CommentI really should call this entry “Catching with Dad”. With an updated gps/fish-finder and a whole new outlook on fishing in Long Island Sound, my Dad made everything look easy today. We had a strike within 15 minutes of getting out on the water, on our very first troll by Peach Island. The fish threw the hook, but fought really hard up until that point. It was a bummer to lose it, but 10 minutes later we got a second hit, and soon had a nice 19″ striper on board. Our first troll of Cockenoe landed the largest fish of the day, a 24″ striper. Our second pass netted us our final catch, a baby 16″ striper.
3 hours, 3 stripers. Not a bad day at all…
